Imam Akinlade is a Strategy & Operations Principal Lead at Google, where he directs multi-billion-dollar programs leveraging AI-powered operations to drive global competitiveness and sustainable growth for Small and Medium Businesses. He previously served as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, advising multinational corporations and governments on go-to-market strategies and digital transformation. An active angel investor, Imam supports ethical, high-growth technology startups worldwide. Through his fellowships with the Institute of STEM Innovation and Excellence and the Commonwealth Academy of Leadership & Management, he contributes to the development of global leadership frameworks and AI adoption strategies. He holds a B.Sc. (First Class Hons.) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar.
