Nic is passionate about building ventures, companies, and teams, particularly taking them from 0 to 1. Over the past 6 years, Nic has held senior leadership positions in high-growth tech companies, overseeing commercial, sales, P&L, and go-to-market teams in both Singapore and the UK. In 2018, Nic founded their own business and has since served as an angel investor and advisor to high-growth startups and founders. In the realm of technology, Nic has assumed various leadership roles, including: Head of Business Development & Partnerships at Grab (Southeast Asia's largest superapp), First Head of Business Development & Sales at Duffel (a Series B travel tech company), First Head of Commercial at Jelly (a seed-stage kitchen tech company) and First Chief Product Officer at BridgeX Network (a seed-stage fintech company). Before venturing into the tech industry, Nic spent 7 years as an Assistant Director in the Singapore government. During this period, they covered roles in strategy, innovation, business development, marketing, and even had a diplomatic stint in India.
