Panel: Speaking the board’s language: Turning revenue metrics into strategic influence
The board doesn’t need more revenue dashboards. It needs to know what the numbers mean and what to do about them. For CROs, the ability to turn revenue data into strategic influence is becoming a critical leadership skill. Pipeline, forecast, retention and growth metrics only matter when they connect to the bigger questions the board cares about: where growth will come from, what is putting it at risk, and where the business should invest. This session explores how CROs can move beyond reporting revenue performance to shaping business strategy. It covers how to frame the right metrics, tell a compelling commercial story, challenge assumptions, and turn revenue insight into decisions that influence the wider business. Because the CRO’s role at the board table isn’t to explain the number. It’s to explain what happens next.
