Carter
Shepperd
VP, Revenue Operations
BC Stone Homes
Carter Sheppard builds AI-First operating solutions that help executive leaders become more effective. As Vice President of Revenue Operations at BC Stone Homes, a residential homebuilder with over $50 million in annual revenue, Carter leads the systems, processes, and AI-enabled workflows that connect sales activity to contracted revenue. He previously served as VP of Technology & Strategy at BC Stone, where he was the company’s first technology hire, stood up engineering from scratch, and brought an AI-first operating mindset into a traditional industry. Carter’s work sits at the intersection of people, process, and technology: turning fragmented signals into visibility senior leaders can actually use. He believes the best AI investments aren’t the flashiest demos; they’re the ones that change what a senior leader can see and act on before noon with help from an AI Agent. Carter is based in Auburn, Alabama and is focused on AI reshaping real businesses — construction, real estate, and revenue operations included. Outside of his day job, Carter is a stock market junkie and budding venture investor!

Frame it before you furnish it: Systems foundations for AI-first RevOps
Senior leaders don’t buy ā€œAI in RevOpsā€ for the pretty pyramid diagram. They buy it for a quieter question: If I invest the money to make these changes, what is different in my day-to-day that makes me more effective? In this session, Carter Sheppard walks through building an AI-first RevOps tech stack - from first phone call to signed contract - connecting communications, CRM, and electronic signature to show how AI can help manage deal flow from start to finish. Leave with a practical point of view on change management and operating leverage: how wiring AI-accessible systems across the revenue path creates senior-level visibility that leads to action.
